You Know You’ve Gotten Used to Working from Home When…

I spent almost the entire day today working in my pajamas.

My son came home from school and found me tapping away at the keyboard in my PJs and looked at me funny, so I had to explain. You see, for the past week or so, I’ve had video meetings with co-workers every.single.day. Which means that I had to be presentable every.single.day. Today was the first day I didn’t have to meet on screen with anyone, so I suppose I took advantage of that.

Of course, I know that the vast a majority of people have to be presentable every single day for years—I know, I’ve been one of them for most of my working life. And here I was, all phew! after just a week of it. A week! It’s amazing how quickly your perspective changes when it’s completely acceptable to come to work looking literally like you just rolled out of bed. 🙂

No, this is not actually me – more of a dramatic re-enactment of my hair today.
