A while back, I wrote about a taking French lessons – first as part of some upcoming planned travel to France, then as a pandemic project. It’s been a long road since then (in so many ways) but lookee here – I’m on a streak!
While I can’t credit Duolingo for taking me from A1 to B1-B2 level, it has helped. A key part of language learning is regular exposure to your target language. Where I live, there are approximately zero French speakers, which makes this a challenge. 🙂 Duolingo is a good way to get that daily dose of French and generally to prompt me to keep up with my studies.
1,000 days down, a lifetime to go!
